Hey Everyone!
I have been going through so much within the past month (and who hasn't?) that I have given myself permission to neglect you just a little bit. I'm sorry but I had to take time out for myself. Not only do you suffer, but I suffer as well. I go off schedule. I get lazy.
But it's ok...everyday is a new day to recharge, restart, and reinvent yourself. Every morning, you have a new chance to pick up the pieces and start fresh. No matter how much you go through on a consistent basis, the sunlight shining every morning gives us hope for a better day. Use it!
Now with that being said, even though I have been neglectful of this blog, that doesn't mean that my mind hasn't been churning away with ideas and thoughts. Thoughts on this blog, my life, your health - they are all intertwined right now as I multi-task myself into oblivion (I'm about to get some theanine right now).
I actually like these times to "shoot the shit". It gives my proofreader a chance to rest and relax while I am free to have bad grammar and blabber on and on about whatever I FEEL is good right now. ;)
So right now, I would like to thank the 10 women that came to Yoga in the Park! 32 people RSVP'd with WEEN and 20 more RSVP'd with me but I'm glad I got 10 women to show up! It was a holiday weekend so I didn't expect that many people to show up anyway...but I am the type of person that loves quality over quantity and these were definitely quality women!
Because I got such a great response, WEEN and I are planning to do more of these events. I am trying to figure out how to do Yoga in the Park sessions in different parts of the 5 boroughs, at different parks. I have other things in the works (like this Outdoor Workshop, which I will explain in later posts) so be on the lookout for them.
I have been asked to be a contributor to other blogs as well. Apparently, I know a couple of things about health so....LOL I can't wait to start that up and I'll definitely give you more information as I get it. Can't speak too much on it too soon....gotta make it happen first!
Oh, here's another thing I want to talk about: THE MASTER CLEANSER. I'm going to do it again but this time, I'm going to make substitutes. I was going to start it this weekend but since it was a holiday weekend (that means too much food), I fell back. I'm actually going to do something that I'm scared to do, which is start the MC on a Sunday...and on a weekend which is definitely going to be tough for me - school weekend.
Time for a story LOL:
At my school, I'm a student leader. That means I have to get their an hour and 45 minutes before everyone else so that I can prepare to check the other students into class (it's not just me, by myself so I apologize if I'm talking like there isn't about 28 other people that do this with me hehe). This means that I have to wake up at 5am so that I can be there at 7:15am. Now this is a daunting task, in of itself...I'm lazy! But to do the MC and play the mudbutt game with this schedule...whooo! It's going to be tough!
That's fine though, since I love challenges. I'm just going to have to make it work. I'm going to take this week to mentally prepare myself for this and just do it. What do I really have to lose (except waste)? LOL hmmm...that just gave me a whole bunch of ideas. I love New York!
Now when I decide to do the MC, I won't give specific details on here. I will explain the process I'm going through and then give you a result post when I'm done. I'll also do an updated post a week after I start eating solid food and then another update within a month of that time.
As far as this blog is concerned, I'm going to get right back on it. I was going to do Breathing Methods - Tai Chi, but since I'm on this Yoga kick, I'm gonna start with Yoga. You should get a brand new post (or maybe 2) by the end of the week. Maybe I should let my proofreader know today. ;)
So until next time,
stay strong, stay healthy, and fight dis-ease!

Hello. Greetings. Hola! Hey Hey Hey!!
don't mind me...it's my first time on this site putting up this kind of blog
My name is Andrea but my cyber moniker is "SeeLaH'. I've posted blogs on myspace for a long time and I decided that it's high time I dedicate a blog to what I love to do....no, not fixing computers or sleeping...but I love to be healthy and share health with others. You know the saying "health is wealth"? Well there is nothing truer than that....especially in this day and age where Americans are ruled by TV, pills, and the ill effects of global warming.
On myspace, I have a couple of mantras at the end of my blogs. One of them is Stay Strong, Stay Healthy and Fight Dis-ease. I thought it was a fantastic mantra, especially since most people think of the physical when it comes to "dis-ease". We need to understand that "disease" and "dis-ease" are two totally different things. Dis-ease is encompassing - affecting not only your physical health, but also your mental and spiritual health. Deficiencies in one can lead to deficiencies in another and it's sad to see that people only notice the waning of their mental or spiritual health when their physical health is in decline or in a state of serious "dis-ease".
In these blogs, I hope to help people such as you (and myself as well...we are all works in progress) with all-around wellness. Fitness, Spirituality, Nutrition, and Current Events that relate to these things are going to be the main focus on this blog. If you can assist me by adding whatever you know or by asking any questions, I would truly appreciate it. Soon, I will also include information on the Master Cleanser and how to do it safely and effectively (as well as other sites that help you with this). But please don't think that the Master Cleanser is the only way to go in terms of weight loss and overall health - there are a myriad of ways for you to be healthy in all aspects...you just have to find your way. I hope my blog can help you to find that way.
So sit back and relax. Drink some nice tea while reading my blogs. Put your feet up and prepare to fight dis-ease!
